  • The client required TresVista’s assistance in onboarding of iLEVEL as the portfolio management database and its implementation in producing quarterly reports
  • The client was shifting their portfolio management CRM from Salesforce to iLevel
    • Given a data transfer from one CRM to the other is an extensive task involving multiple layers of data transfer, the client sought TresVista’s assistance to ensure all the data pertaining to the fund cashflows and asset level metrics is accurately transferred to iLevel
  • The client asked us to assist in migration of all necessary data into iLEVEL, validation of the data, and building of quarterly reports leveraging iLEVEL

Final Deliverable and Value-add

  • The team created a very simplified analysis from all the complex and high-volume data through the implementation of iLEVEL
    • Making iLEVEL a centralized source of data for all portfolio monitoring and valuation activities
  • The analyst created easy to use excel functionalities for ease of pulling and uploading data
  • The associate and VP sought for high level of automation in the QPR and any other portfolio management process going forward saving the client a significant amount of time in execution and data extraction

Methodology

  • The iLevel integration process spanned over an 11-month period where a dedicated capacity assisted the client in integrating and transferring all the asset and fund level data into iLevel
  • The analyst and associate served the client’s data migration through SIT (System Integration Testing) & UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • The VP ensured proper staffing and resource availability throughout the entire onboarding process and provided value-add by ensuring timely and proper data transfer and validation, periodic progress and roadmap catch-ups, etc.
  • The TresVista team held periodic calls with the client’s deal and fund accounting team to check up on the current progress, discuss roadmap, and brainstorm challenges
